Most greatest 2d medieval isometric art i've ever seen

How did you make these!? They are beautiful!

Great pack. I m complete noobie in this, but I gave it a shot and overall I am not disappointed with my first purchase. One question. I converted this pack into tilesets 256x128 grid. And it works ok with tiled but Im strugling with connecting walls etc. I have misalignment. Is it my fault or this pack is not compatible with it? I created tileset just by selecting all files in directory without any further edit. Any tips would be appreciated

Hi there!. Is there any update coming? cheers!

Hi, i've been keeping track to the asset since it's very high quality. The artist is not very responsive and the updates are slow. So i'd suggest to use it only if it covers your needs in total.

Other artists will be probably unable to produce the same kind of art to fill in any gaps you might have in your art and even if they do, they'll charge you a lot of money to do it. That's my 2 cents.

Cheers

Hi, I actually chatted with him on Reddit. He has health issues and to be honest, I am not in rush and I can wait. His art is awesome and the update will worth the wait.

Cheers!

Oh, i see. His art is truly awesome indeed. Thanks for the update!

Can someone who bought this pack tell me if there are trees and crop fields included in it it or just buildings? Thank you.

There are some trees and fields but they're quite small and not that many of them. So this may not be what you want.

Quick question, since I see several comments mentioning an update. If I buy the pack now...cuz I wants it, will I get the update for free or should I wait for the update and then purchase it to avoid having to repurchase?

EDIT: Nevermind, I just bought it anyways, if I gotta pay again for more thats fair lol

Hi! How are you?
Just a question, if I buy the pack, can I use it in commercial projects? (with the corresponding credits of course)

Hello

Yes of course, you can use it in commercial projects! If you have any more questions regarding usage, you could try messaging itch.io as they will be able to give a more detailed answer than I can.

Good luck with your project.

Hi,

I am very interested (really great job) in this package but now I am thinking... should I wait for the update, as in below comments you mentioned that you are working on an update to this pack. Any ETA for this update? Or maybe it was already released (I can't see any info here on page)?

No I'm still working on the update, hopefully it should be done  sometime in the next month.   I'll update the project page when it's completed.

Cool :)

hello

can you tell me, which underground tiles are included? thx

chrische

My suggestion is to add building foundations (few size) and scaffolding. That will be very useful. And maybe wall ruins (unfinished walls). Than I would use it to make a construction site.

I can pay extra ;)

Hi. Wow , good job.
Do you have buildings under construction graphics ?

And can I find such buildings as lumbermill, fisherman house, blacksmith etc. ?

No, sorry there are no construction graphics . There's a blacksmith but no lumbermill or fishing house but they should be included in the next update.

I will buy it today. It fits well to my project.

Could I commission you to do more of these buildings? I would like things such as mines and lumber mills, more industrial buildings.

Hi.

I don't do commissions right now but I'm working on updating the medieval set.  Tell me which kind of buildings you want to see. If you want them to look a certain way, a link to reference images would be very helpful!

I'm also working on an industrial building set so feel free to suggest any objects or structures you'd like to see included.

im interested  in this artstlye for a steampunk factory game, hopefully you industrial set would include production buildings

Hi.

I agree, this pack seem amazing. I downloaded the sample and it look very nice. I plan to buy it. But before, i have a question :

In sample, all buildings have shadow. That not good thing for me. And it's hard to cut for me. (I hate graphic soft, and i'm visually impaired). it is the same in the pack ? Or it include shadowless version ?

Most have shadows but I'm planning to update this set to include more no-shadow versions of the buildings. I'm not sure when it will be done but I'll make a post here when I do. Thanks anyway!

These are all quite awesome! Just wondering, would it be ok for me to cutPaste manipulate sections to create my own buildings? And is there any issue with me using these elements in a commercial iOS and android game?

Thanks! Yes, you can edit them as well as use them in a commercial project. I think the only thing you cannot do is resell them as an asset pack. If you contact itch.io I'm sure they can confirm and clarify any questions.

Hi, just a small constructive criticism. The assets are great but there is a small inconsistency in the colour of the castle pieces (the straight ones have a slightly different tint than the curves), wich makes hard to make a castle with a consistent colour. Other than that, nice looking buildings.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I'll fix it in the next update as well as adding new buildings. I meant to release it sooner but have had some health issues recently which delayed my progress.

Oh, get well first, health is the most important. I hope is nothing severe. Anyways, I managed to make great structures with the assets and I really love your style. Thanks for the quick answer!

Hello JPCU,

I bought this pack about a month or so ago and then I made a mod for Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition.   https://www.ageofempires.com/mods/details/50197/

It goes nicely with the latest DLC campaigns for the Burgundians and other west european civilizations. Your assets replace the Frank, Briton, Celt and Burgundian architecture with this mod enabled. Nice to see them in action in one of the classic RTS games out there.

Thanks for telling me. It looks like you did well in integrating the graphics! I don't have the definitive edition of AOE2 but I used to play the original game + Conquerors back in the day. I even made a graphics mod with some steampunk buildings but never finished it and unfortunately don't have the files anymore.

Awesome. I just had to turn up the color contrast a little bit on your graphics in photoshop so they blended better with the aoe2 buildings and environment (their artstyle seems higher contrast with the colors). And I had to make the cathedral more 'compact' so it fits nicely onto the tile layout of the aoe2 monastery.

Here is another mod where I changed the dark age architecture with some of your palisades and thatched roof assets: https://www.ageofempires.com/mods/details/48645/

I agree with all the others that already wrote.
The package looks great, I am really tempted to buy it, but without units it's hard to make a nice game.

I am following you now in case you will have new releases ;-)

Great job, keep going in this way!

Soooooooo f**king good!! Take my money!! I want more !!!

Hey, can I use your assets in commercial project (after purchase of course :D) ? I need building like this to create animation, thanks! Great work :)

Yes, once purchased you are free to use the assets in a commercial project. Thanks!

I was sceptical when I saw this at first since I couldn't believe the price is so low. I must admit that I am amazed by amount of quality and diversity this asset provides. It is absolutely gorgeous. Please do somekind of units in this style :( the world deserves it!!! Amazing work.

(+1)

Thanks for the feedback!

As for unit graphics, it's not my strongest skill so I tried searching for  isometric people/unit/vehicle assets here on itch.io and other sites but couldn't find any that would fit with the style. I may have to just make them myself. If/when I do I'll be sure to release a pack.

Isometric resources are always welcome, these are lovely by the way!

I would suggest ripping the models from Age of Empires II, and then painting your own units in this style over those units as a base in their already isometric poses, it would be much easier, and would probably create the best looking isometric assets that have ever existed, if you could manage to make even just one knight and one wizard, people could start making really interesting games. However, each character is a lot of sprites with their animations. Bare minimum would need a walk/attack/die animation in 2 directions.

This is amazing, the environments will also become a pack (grass, trees, fields, ...)? :0

(+1)

I might release an environment pack but I'd have to make more varied terrain first (hills, rivers etc) instead of just flat ground textures.

These look incredible, IMO. The linework and detail are impeccable and the file/folder structure is organized and easy to follow. I own a metric s***-ton of itch.io asset packs and this one is immediately in the top 10 for me based on content value of the pack. Appreciate you posting this!
Sincerely,
Kytra

Thanks very much! I'm currently working on more building assets, starting with an Industrial/Steampunk set.

That's great. Honestly I can't wait. Your assets are amazing! Do you by any chance have a rough ETA? They would fit perfectly in one of my projects!
