A downloadable Demo for Windows

The Snow Bunker is a very small demonstration environment (not a game) produced with RPG Maker VX Ace  designed to test the feasibility of a game made in an RPGMaker engine with an isometric perspective. Because a true isometric mode is not available in any of the RM engines, I’ve used diagonal movement with parallax backdrops to try and achieve something similar.

The habitat consists of a small cosy underground bunker with various rooms and some appliances (toaster, fridge etc) which can be interacted with. Perhaps a nice place to live during winter or shelter from a catastrophe.

I tried the demo. It works pretty well and has a great atmosphere. I'd certainly like to play more. My one criticism is slight collision issues and maybe not being able to directly align to some of the items when actioning them (I see the other commenter also mentioned this).

Have you considered converting it to RPG Maker MV or MZ? I don't have MZ yet, but am using MV for a semi-isometric game (2.5D), and it's a bit more straightforward to implement in full than I think it would be in VX Ace, once you get the right plugins (I'm using Galv's Layers, which is great, and extremely flexible, and his 8-directional movement plugin). I've used VX Ace for a few projects, and while I love the feel of the interface more than MV, there seems like more scope for bigger games like this could turn out to be.

How's the project coming along, anyway? I'm totally going to get your Medieval isometric items set shortly, as most of those assets will look really cool in my isometric game! Keep up the top work!

Good stuff. Movement is a bit off, but the art is top-notch and there's definitely some atmosphere in there.
